You don’t have to pause your healthy habits when you leave home.

Whether you’re exploring your own city or traveling, wellness doesn’t have to stay behind—it comes with you. This guide is for those who want to travel more mindfully—choose experiences that nourish your body, mind, and spirit.

1. Clean Eating on the Go

• Look for organic smoothie cafés and farm-to-table restaurants that use clean, transparent ingredients.

• If you’re unsure, ask questions—or use Seed Oil Scout to check restaurants and menus on the spot, this is my favorite go to app.

2. Mindful Movement, Anywhere

Movement doesn’t have to stop when you travel.

• Start with what’s accessible—walk to your morning coffee, stretch on the balcony, explore local trails, or drop into a yoga or pilates class.

• No studio? No problem. Search “travel workouts” or “15-minute movement” on YouTube for quick options.

• Gentle movement like nature walks, stretching, or grounding breathwork lowers cortisol, supports digestion, and helps regulate energy—key to hormone balance on the go.

3. Farmers Markets + Local Sourcing

Cooking while away or wanting fresh fruit for healthy snacks?

• Find weekend markets or small produce stands, my go to apps Locally Grown and Farmish. Ask farmers about their growing practices—many follow organic, pesticide free, and non-GMO methods even if they’re not certified.

• Prioritize what’s in season, and support the people doing it right.

4. Grounding Practices for Travel

✨ Travel is exciting—but it can unground your nervous system fast. How many of us can’t 💩 while traveling?

• Whether you’re in a new city or a familiar place, your body craves rhythm and regulation. I do my best to stick to my usual morning and evening routine to anchor my energy at the start of the day and prepare for restful sleep at night.

• Think: water before coffee, legs-up-the-wall before bed, 4-4-6 breath work before meals, barefoot time on natural ground, or sitting quietly in prayer and/or meditation to recenter.

• Travel doesn’t have to feel chaotic. These small grounding habits help regulate cortisol, support digestion, and keep you feeling at home—wherever you are.

5. Travel Essentials: Hormone-Safe + Non-Toxic

✨ Your suitcase shouldn’t sabotage your lifestyle.

• Just because you’re away from home doesn’t mean you have to compromise on your health values. I pack all my personal non-toxic and hormone-safe essentials.

My go-to’s? I cut my bar soap and shave bar into smaller pieces, use refillable aluminum when possible for containers, clean deodorant, bamboo toothbrush with boar’s hair bristles, copper water bottle, stainless steel coffee mug, travel-friendly water filtration and more.

• For skincare and beauty, I only pack what I’ve already vetted—nothing hotel-provided goes on my skin unless I know it’s safe.
