My Story
Where My Passion for Holistic Living Began
A Journey Rooted in Truth-Seeking
Rooted in Nature
Looking back, my journey didn’t begin in the wellness world—it began barefoot in the country.
I grew up eating vegetables straight from the garden, running barefoot all day, soaking in the sun without sunscreen, and waking and resting with the rhythm of the day. We didn’t call it “circadian rhythm” or “grounding”—we just lived it. That intuitive connection to the earth and my body has always been there, even before I had the words for it.
Spiritually Grounded
At 19, my prayer and meditation journey began. It became a foundational element of my life and continues to deepen and guide me today. Prayer and meditation, coupled with my decision to be sober, has taught me that my relationship with God and my relationship with myself—my internal world, the way I speak to myself—are my most foundational relationships. They shape how I see the world and how I treat others. The way I speak to myself is the foundation for everything else.
The Wake-Up Call
At 19, I got breast implants—I was assured by doctors they were safe.
Within months, I discovered they were part of the largest class-action lawsuit involving over 3,000 women harmed by breast implants—the largest known case to date. Within a few years, I developed scar tissue so severe that they hurt to hug or sleep on my side. I was terrified of a rupture and the toxicity.
At 24, I had them removed. I just wanted to be healthy. I’ve never had fillers or Botox. From that experience, I can still feel the fear—wanting them out of my body and counting down the days until the appointment.
Getting to the Root
At 30 years old, I was diagnosed with C‑PTSD and codependency. I thought being aware of it meant I could handle it.
But the pain of repeatedly finding myself in toxic relationships—stuck in fight, flight, freeze, or fawn—became too much.
I didn’t know how to set healthy boundaries. I kept ignoring my intuition.
Eventually, I’d had enough. I found a safe space and began working through multiple modalities to get to the root of those patterns. Today, I have tools for self-regulation. I honor my boundaries. I trust my intuition and my behavior in relationships reflects this.
Reclaiming My Health
In my late 30s, I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and told I’d need two medications for life—totaling $2,000 a month—plus side effects. Even while taking the medication, I still had symptoms. I had an intuitive thought: "if my body created this, it has to be able to heal it as well."
I dug deep into the internet, looking for people who had healed themselves—and how they did it. I began supporting my nervous system, addressing root causes, and reshaping my lifestyle through holistic practices. I was able to heal my body and eliminate my symptoms. I’ve been medication-free for years and received a clean bill of health in 2020.
The Perimenopause Shift
Even after years of eating “healthy,” buying organic, taking multivitamins for women 50+, and evening primrose oil to prevent night sweats— My perimenopause kept getting worse, revealing deeper gaps in what I thought I knew. The brain fog in the last few years was so severe I worried I had dementia.
I knew HRT came with its own issues, and it would be my last resort. So once again, I turned to holistic research—learning how specific foods, seeds, herbs, and supplements could support hormone function. I discovered how marketing—and even European certifications—still hid hormone disruptors in plain sight. That’s when I realized: “healthy” isn’t always hormone-safe. A few years into supporting perimenopause holistically, my symptoms have dramatically improved.
The Mission Moving Forward
Some say I’m extreme with my lifestyle.
I believe each of these experiences have led me to where I am today—sharing what I’ve learned about holistic wellness.
This journey continues to evolve, because my health depends on it. I’m here to share what’s helped me—so you can explore your own path, trust your intuition, and feel supported in creating a holistic, hormone-safer, non-toxic lifestyle.
You’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
